Donna & Stanley's Layered Tortilla Casserole

1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 can (2 1/4 oz) sliced olives (drained)
6 large tortillas
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup water
Crumble ground beef into 1 quart glass bowl.  Add onion, garlic, chili powder, salt and pepper.  Microwave uncovered on high for 5-6 minutes until meat is no longer pink.  Stir once to break up meat.  Drain.  Stir in tomato sauce and olives.  In 2-quart glass casserole dish, alternate layers of tortilla, 1/2 cup meat mixture and 1/4 cup cheese.  Repeat, making 6 layers.  Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.  Pour water around edges.  Cover with casserole lid or microwavable plastic wrap (vented).  Microwave on high for 6-7 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.  Rotate dish once.  Makes 6 servings of 385 calories each.
